Governor of Abia State, Okezie Ikpeazu has re-appointed a former vice chancellor of Abia State University, ABSU, Prof. Mkpa Agu Mkpa as the board chairman of the state Independent Electoral Commissioner, ABSIEC along with six commissioners and a secretary.
Commissioners appointed in the board include Prince Dan Okoli, Onyebinanma Sunday Onyebinanma, Dan Onwutuebe, Henry Okachie Okere, Enyinnaya Ebere, Mrs Precious Achumba, and the secretary Onyekachi Ebere Prince, the secretary to the State Government, Barr. Chris Ezem announced in a statement.
Their inauguration will take place on Friday 13th January, 2023 at the Executive Council Chambers, Government House Umuahia, by 10am.
