President Bola Tinubu has reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to prioritizing the welfare of Nigerian workers, calling them “the engine of our economy and the secret to our nation’s growth.”
In a message shared Thursday on his official X handle to commemorate Workers’ Day, the president honored all contributors to national development — across age groups and sectors, whether in public or private employment.
“Everyone young and old, entrepreneur or employee, private or government-employed, whose meaningful contributions help, in no small way, to the development of our homes, communities, and our dear nation,” Tinubu wrote.
He further stated, “Our administration has and will continue to prioritize workers’ welfare. Together, we will make Nigeria great again.”
