As Abia State marks two years of the administration of Governor Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, accolades have continued to pour in from different quarters, commending the governor’s performance in transforming the state and delivering grassroots-oriented governance.

One of such voices is Mazi Uche U. Ukoha, President of UCY Model Schools, Ebem Ohafia, who in a goodwill message described the governor’s two years in office as “two years of impactful leadership, visionary governance, and renewed hope for Abians.”

Reflecting on the progress witnessed across the state, Mazi Ukoha noted that Governor Otti’s government has repositioned Abia State on the path of sustainable development through infrastructural renewal, prudent management of resources, and people-centered policies.

“I have every reason to celebrate the remarkable achievements of our dear Governor, especially when I remember the reconstruction of the Omenuko Bridge at Abam, along the Umuahia–Bende–Ohafia road, which had been a death trap for years. Today, it stands as a symbol of purposeful leadership and a lifeline for the communities it serves,” Ukoha said.

He further highlighted that under Governor Otti’s administration, Abia State is experiencing a holistic transformation, from road rehabilitation to improvements in healthcare, education, and general service delivery.

His ability to touch lives in every part of the state speaks volumes of his love for the people and his vision for a greater Abia.”

He also praised the exemplary synergy between Governor Otti and his Deputy, Engr. Ikechukwu Emetu, describing their leadership as inspiring and people-focused.

“As the governor celebrates two years in office, it is evident that Abians have renewed hope. His leadership style and transparent governance are laying the foundation for a prosperous future. The governor is truly an award-winning leader, and I believe that even greater days lie ahead,” Ukoha concluded.

Governor Alex Otti was inaugurated on May 29, 2023, and has since embarked on an aggressive transformation agenda with a focus on rebuilding critical infrastructure, restoring public confidence in governance, and promoting economic growth in Abia State.
