Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, is set to appear at the Federal High Court in Abuja today, May 14, 2025, as the trial continues.

Today’s proceedings will see his formidable legal team begin the cross-examination of the second prosecution witness, following a series of inconsistencies and controversial claims made during last week’s hearing.

Supporters of Kanu remain hopeful as his defense continues to expose the political undertones of the trial and reaffirm his commitment to a peaceful pursuit of justice and self-determination for the people of the Southeast.
