Member representing Ikwuano/Umuahia federal constituency, Honourable Sam Onuigbo has felicitated with the people of the constituency and Abia State at the occasion of Christmas celebration, thanking the people of Ikwuano/Umuahia for their unalloyed support in his legislative assignment.
This he said is attributable to the successes he has recorded as their representative over the years.
In a Christmas message on Saturday, Rep. Sam Onuigbo while admitting that the country is at the moment facing security and economic challenges pledged to do his best as the representative of the people of Ikwuano/Umuahia to ensure a fair deal for them at the centre.
“Though we are faced with various challenges as a constituency, state and country, these obstacles are however not insurmountable. With a collective resolve and the spirit of patriotism, we will build an egalitarian and peaceful society.

“As your representative, I am committed to effectively being your eye and mouthpiece at the centre. I am dedicated to offering you service that will leave a signature of honour in all areas of our lives as a people now and in a long time to come.
“In infrastructure, youth empowerment, health care delivery, human capital development and inclusion in national affairs, the modest achievements we have all jointly made are there for all to see” he says.
While urging them not to relent in supporting him, he assured that he will continue to push for policies that will be of immense benefit to them.
“At the House of Representatives, I will not relent in pushing for policies that will alleviate some of the sufferings we have faced as a people particularly in infrastructure, employment and poverty alleviation.
“Permit me to express my profound gratitude for the support you have graciously offered me so far. Like Oliver Twist, I will not but ask that we do it again in 2022.
“As you celebrate Christmas with family, friends and well-wishers, I charge you to remember that the love of Christ is the reason for the season. Please be peaceful and safe.
“I pray that this celebration will bring us good tidings even as I pray God Almighty to give us a new year filled with immense possibilities.
