Chief Dan Okeke Ends Years Of Darkness In Abia Community, Donates Electricity Poles

The people of Uburu Ihechiowa in Arochukwu local government area of Abia State will now heave a sigh of relief as the APC Candidate For House of Representatives, Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency, Chief Dan Okeke has donated electricity poles to restore power in the community.

Our correspondent gathered that the community has suffered years of power outage as a result of collapse of poles and other electricity installations.

A statement by Oti Maduabuchi Orieji, Special Assistant to Chief Okeke on Media and Publicity said the philanthropist and an Ututu born business mogul, Chairman Express Concerns Int’l Ltd, Swiss Spirit Hotel and Suites Danage said he was deeply touched over the plight of the people.

He said, “It would be recalled that the village has been without electric power for some years as a result of the collapse of some electric poles which threw the community into darkness.

“The Chairman of Uburu Development Union (UDU), Elder Okore Ota who led a delegation of eminent personalities in the community to receive the materials, thanked Chief Daniel Okeke for such magnanimous gesture, promising him that one good turn deserves another as he prayed for God’s continual blessings in his life.

“Chief Daniel Okeke who was represented by Hon. Williams Njoku Onuoha expressed happiness at the reception given to him by the people of the Uburu community promises to attract more community development projects.”
