The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Assembly Primary Election Committee for Abia State, Barrister Erasmus Cishak, has arrived in the state ahead of the commencement of the party’s primary elections.
Speaking shortly after his arrival, Barrister Cishak assured party members and aspirants that the committee is committed to conducting a peaceful, transparent and hitch-free primary election process across the state.
He emphasized that the committee would ensure fairness and credibility throughout the exercise, while urging all aspirants, delegates and party stakeholders to conduct themselves responsibly and abide by the rules guiding the primaries.
The APC chieftain further expressed confidence that the exercise would strengthen party unity and deepen internal democracy within the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.
