Abia State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has released timetable for the conduct of the April 28, 2023 Local Government election.
People of the state are expected to file out in their large numbers to elect chairmen for the 17 local government areas and and councillors.
The party pegged its chairmanship nomination form at N500,000 while expression of interest form goes for N50,000, making it a total of N550,000.
In a statement on Wednesday signed by Hon. Elder Abraham Amah, the Abia PDP Vice Chairman/Acting State Publicity Secretary, the party also pegged nomination form for councillors at N50,000 while expression of interest form goes for N10,000.
Purchase of expression of interest and nomination forms for Chairmanship and Councillorship contestants are expected to commence on Thursday 23/02/2023 and last through Friday 03/3/2023.
