The people of Ebem Ohafia, Ohafia LGA of Abia state have concluded their 2021 new yam (Iri Ji) and the traditional Igba Ekpe festival amidst cheers and excitement on 4th September 2021, ABN TV reports.

Sons and daughters of Ebem from within and outside Nigeria, in-laws, and visitors took part in the festival.
Far-reaching deliberations on how to move the community forward also took place.
There were donations and pledges for developmental projects in the community from sobs and daughters of Ebem at the event.
