2023 Presidency: Nigeria’s Existence Will Be Under Threat If APC Wins – Pastor Giwa

The Senior Pastor of Awaiting The Second Coming Of Christ Ministry, Adewale Giwa has disclosed that if the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, should emerge winner of the 2023 presidential election, the existence of the country might be threatened.

Giwa stated that Nigerians should be vigilant in preventing the APC from regaining power in order to save the country from collapsing.

The pastor, who stated this on Wednesday, emphasised that an event that will recreate Nigeria for better would soon happen.

He said, “This is the time reasonable Nigerians should put their heads together to resist the policies of some politicians who always think of themselves. Nigeria is above the interest of any individual.

“An unexpected event will happen that will recreate and change the name of Nigeria. Until the event happens, there is nobody elected that can proffer solutions to the problems plaguing Nigeria.

“I don’t care for Atiku, I don’t care for Obi, I don’t care for Tinubu. They are all birds of a feather.

“More importantly, all hands must be on deck to prevent the current ruling party from manipulating its way to power again.

“We should forget Nigeria if APC wins the coming presidential election. The country will be forgotten totally if APC should find its way to power again.

Abuja-Kaduna Rail: Expect Increase In Fare, Says Minister

The Federal Executive Council (FEC) has approved N718.19 million to secure the 45-kilometre Abuja rail tracks and stations.

This was disclosed by the Minister of the FCT Mohammed Bello during a briefing after the FEC meeting on Wednesday in Abuja.

“In the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting of today, I presented a memo and the council approved a contract to two companies for the provision of security services for the Abuja Light Rail Mass Transit System,” the minister told reporters during the briefing.

“These companies are Messrs Al-Ahali Security Guards Limited and Messrs Seaguard Security and Protective Company Limited

“They are going to provide security to the entire 45 kilometres of track including 12 stations.

“And these security services are meant to protect the key infrastructure on the rail tracks, the signaling and communication equipment as well as the electrical system.

“Al-Ahali Security Guard Limited is going to secure 27.4 kilometres of the track, covering eight stations at the cost of N407,214,000 over a two-year period, while Seaguard Securities and Protective Company Limited are going to secure 18 kilometres of the rail tracks including four railway stations and that is at a cost of N310,979,250.”

The Federal Government’s recent move followed an attack on the Abuja-Kaduna rail line which led to the suspension of operations.

In the March attack, gunmen had planted explosives and attacked the passengers (kidnapped scores). Months after the incident, the Federal Government said it cannot recommence train services for now.

Minister of Transportation Muazu Sambo said such a move will be insensitive to the plight of families whose loved ones are still in captivity.

According to him, the government is investigating the right type of surveillance equipment to procure to effectively monitor the tracks along the Abuja Kaduna route as well as concessioning it in a Public Private Partnership (PPP) arrangement.

Lady Who Sold 3-Week Baby For 600k Arrested In Ogun

0

Operatives of the Ogun Police Command have arrested a 23-year-old lady, Mary Olatayo, for allegedly selling her three weeks old baby for N600,000.

The suspect was arrested following a complaint by the baby’s father who reported at Mowe Divisional Police Headquarters in Obafemi-Owode Local Government Area of Ogun.

The Police Spokesman, Abimbola Oyeyemi, said this in a statement made available to journalists in Abeokuta on Thursday.

He said the complainant told the police that he was in a relationship with the suspect and she got pregnant for him.

According to him, the father said he rented an apartment for the suspect where she lived until she was delivered of a baby boy.

“He (the father) complained further that the lady suddenly disappeared with the baby from the apartment 3 weeks after delivery only for her to be found in an hotel where she has gone for a hookup with another man.

“All efforts to know where the baby is proved futile,” Oyeyemi quoted the complainant as saying.

Oyeyemi said after the report, the DPO Mowe division, SP Folake Afeniforo, detailed detectives to the scene where the suspect was arrested and brought to the station.

“On interrogation, Mary Olatayo confessed to the Police that she has sold the baby to someone in Anambra state at the rate of six hundred thousand naira.

“She confessed that it was her friend Chioma Esther Ogbonna who led her to the buyer in Anambra state and that they both shared the money equally,” he said.

The Police Spokesman hinted that her confession led to the arrest of Chioma Esther Ogbonna who also corroborated Mary’s claims.

According to him, further investigation by the police revealed that, Mary Olatayo, a native of Omu-Aran in Kwara state, is a call girl, who sees the baby as a disturbance to her business hence she decided to do away with the baby.

“Fortunately for her, she has an accomplice in Chioma a native of Imo state who quickly contacted the buyer in Anambra state,” he said.

Oyeyemi quoted the Commissioner of Police, Lanre Bankole, to have ordered the transfer of the suspects to anti human trafficking and child labour unit of the state criminal investigation Departments for further investigation.

He said the CP also directed that everything possible must be done to recover the baby.

Sen. Kalu Replies Mao Ohuabunwa, Says He Has Offered Abia North Projects Not Frying Pan

Sen. Kalu Replies Mao Ohuabunwa, Says He Has Offered Abia North Projects Not Frying Pan

The verbal missile going on between the sacked Senator of Abia North in the 8th Senate, Mao Ohuabunwa, and the incumbent performing Senator Orji Uzor Kalu is far from over as the later has described the former as a frustrated politician sacked for his poor performance.

Sen. Kalu through the spokesperson of his campaign organisation, Sunny Idika was reacting to the allegation that he abandoned a N5.2billion project attracted by Sen. Ohuabunwa and that Abia North lacks representation since 2019 when Ohuabunwa was voted out of Senate.

Idika said there is no truth in Sen. Ohuabunwa’s allegation, maintaining that the only project the former Senator attracted was the distribution of frying pan to his constituents as his constituency project. اربح مال

He also reminded Ohuabunwa who is the PDP candidate for the district in the 2023 general elections that Sen. Kalu’s sterling performance in the Senate has earned him recognition from the Senate press corps as the most performing Senator. افضل موقع مراهنات كرة القدم

The former senator who became famous for sharing frying pan as his constituency project in the 8th Senate also said the people of Abia North lacked a representative since he left the senate.

“Ohuabunwa’s statement is an insult to the masses’ integrity. It is a futile attempt of a frustrated and rejected politician to assess the outstanding three-year performance of Kalu who was adjudged as the best performing Senator in the 9th Senate by the Senate Press Corps for executing massive developmental projects for his Abia North constituents.

‘It is ridiculous that Ohuabunwa that was sacked in an overwhelming landslide election in the 2019 General Elections would have the temerity to give an assessment of a Senator that has already been rated the best in the history of the state with over 63 road projects and 40 Bills to his credit,” he said.

Idika further added that Ohuabunwa’s statement on the Arochukwu-Ohafia road is an admission to the fact that he failed as a legislator for the twelve years he spent at the National Assembly compared to the over 63 road projects executed by Senator Orji Uzor Kalu in just three years.

He said the people of Abia North senatorial district must know that Mao Ohuabunwa did not attract any project to the zone, not to talk of abandoning it, stating that Sen. Orji Uzor Kalu, Chief Whip of the Senate fought for the Arochukwu-Ohafia road which was approved only to be delayed by the crisis rocking the family of the deceased contractor.

“Mao Ohuabunwa, known for dragging projects has just one signature project – which is the frying pan he shared to Abia North women.

“He should be told by those around him that we have gone past the era of sharing frying pan. كيف تفوز في روليت

“We understand that Ohuabunwa and his co-travellers have been rattled by the achievements, acceptability as well as the effectiveness of the ongoing constituency tour embarked upon by the Chief Whip of the Senate, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu to showcase his scorecard to his constituents. We are sorry, we can’t help them.

“We, however, challenged Ohuabunwa to embark on a similar tour to show the people what he did for the twelve years he was in Abuja,” he added.
