Community dwellers at Abiriba drawn from the entire seventeen villages have gathered at the Palace of its Paramount ruler , HRM. Eze Kalu Kalu Ogbu, the Enachioken of Abiriba to host the Chief Whip of the Senate ,Senator Orji Uzor Kalu to render an account of his stewardship. The Palace also had the presence of other Traditional rulers of the seventeen villages.
In the past few weeks Kalu has embarked on the tour interacting and taking stock of views of the community as the 9th Senate prepares to pass the 2023 budget.
Kalu emphasized the purpose of his legislative task which was to also assert other needs of the community. The educational empowerment of Kalu was also acknowledged by the leader , they also appealed to Kalu to intervene over a botched disbursement of Educational materials in their community.
In an earlier address Kalu divulged to the community that as stated in the 2022 budget the construction of six more roads and three more schools will be built in the community by September.
HRM Ogbu also supported Kalu’s call for the deployment of security aircrafts and group troops to wipe out Kidnappers and other criminals harboring in the community forests.
