Veteran Nollywood actress, Taiwo Ajai-Lycett has said that a true actor is known by his willingness to embrace all parts of their profession, including sharing a kiss on screen.

According to her, any role interpreter who is unwilling to engage in on-screen kisses isn’t a “true actor.”

She emphasised the importance of separating personal preferences from movie roles.

The veteran actress noted in an interview with TVC that bringing one’s personal beliefs into acting, such as reluctance to engage in on-screen kisses, reflects a lack of dedication to the profession.

She said: “If you can’t kiss on screen, you’re not an actor, you don’t bring your personal preferences into play.”
