Sir Udensi noted that the late Dr. Onu was an outstanding scholar, who served at various capacities with utmost integrity.

“Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu’s death is devastating and shocking. Indeed, Nigeria has lost a statesman who believed so much in the unity, peace, progress, and development of the nation.

“He was known for always adorning his white native wears and traditional red cap, and very soft-spoken. He championed the inclusion of Igbo in the country’s political equation and history will be kind to him”, he stated.

Sir Udensi commiserated with the family of the former Minister, the government and people of Ebonyi state, and all his political associates over the huge loss.
