At least two policemen have been killed following an attack at Anambra Police zonal headquarters, in Ukpo area of the state.
The gunmen had stormed the Zone 13 Police headquarters and set it on fire.
ABN TV could not ascertain the identity of the killed officers as at the moment of this report.
Not less than four vehicles have also been burnt while fire fighters have arrived to put out the inferno.
The development has heightened tension across the State.
On Sunday night, three persons were allegedly killed in Awka, Anambra State, including a fitness instructor.
In the early hours of Monday, hoodlums invaded Uzuakoli Police Station In Bende Local government area of Abia state, setting it ablaze.
The level of damage were not yet ascertained.
