The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate, Atiku Abubakar, have presented to the Presidential Election Petitions Court verified copies of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s academic and professional credentials.
Tinubu’s victory in the February 25 election is being challenged by the PDP and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.
The Tribunal approved President Tinubu’s B.Sc certificate from Chicago State University, his NYSC Discharge Certificate, and a certificate of service from Mobil Nigeria Oil Plc on Friday, June 23, 2023.
During the court hearings, PDP’s subpoenaed witness, Mike Enahoro Ebah Esq, disclosed facts concerning these documents. He claimed Tinubu received them, although they had the name ‘Bola Adekunle Tinubu’.
As supporting attachments, the witness, who was led by PDP counsel Chris Uche (SAN), also presented nomination papers EC13 and EC9, as well as letters addressed to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
