First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, has arrived in the ancient city of Kano for her one-day official visit. The presidential jet conveying her and her entourage touched down at the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport a few hours ago.

The governor of Kano state, Abba Kabir Yusuf, and members of his cabinet were at the airport to receive the First Lady.

It was a rousing welcome as thousands of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) supporters and loyalists of the All Progressives Congress (APC) all came out to welcome the president’s wife.
