Chief Whip of the Senate, Sen. Orji Uzor Kalu has called on Nigerians to ignore fake news against APC presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, describing him as an outstanding personality.
He said the election drawing closer, a moment the opposition spread rumours.
The former Abia governor said contrary to rumours out there, Tinubu was not denied visa to the US but only postponed his journey.

“The news that Tinubu was denied visa to the USA is as fake as other fake news. Tinubu postponed the travel himself and was never denied visa.
The State Department of the US confirmed to me that Tinubu will be received in the third week of December.
“As the presidential candidate of our party with outstanding personality, he will be warmly welcomed in the United States”, Sen. Kalu posted on his verified Facebook page.
Sen. Kalu said the former Lagos governor is an outstanding personality and will be warmly received in the US.
He called on Nigerians to keep eye on the ball and ignore distractions.
Sen. Kalu is the Abia State Coordinator of Tinubu’s presidential campaign council.
