The entire Abacheke community in Ohaji-Egbema Local Government Area of Imo State has been thrown into deep mourning following the tragic k!lling of two brothers, Comrade Bright Okezuo Onyenwoke and Engineer Jeff Okorodah Onyenwoke, by suspected gunmen, ABN TV reports.
According to the family, the sad incident occurred on March 8th, 2024, when the two brothers were gruesomely m√rdered by unknown assailants in Abacheke, sparking outrage and grief within the community.
Late Comr. Bright Okezuo Onyenwoke was aged 39, while his younger brother, Engr. Jeff Okorodah Onyenwoke, was 36 years old.
Their burial ceremony has been scheduled to hold on Saturday, April 19th, 2025, at their family compound in Abacheke, Ohaji-Egbema LGA, Imo State.
Friends, relatives, and sympathizers from far and near are expected to gather to pay their final respects to the slain brothers, whose untimely death has left an indelible mark on their loved ones.
Meanwhile, the community continues to call for justice, urging security agencies to intensify efforts to fish out those behind the heinous act and bring them to book.
