Imo State Police Command says it has arrested two murder suspects, Chioma Emenyionu and her brother, one Mishark Emenyionu both of Uborji Village, in Okuku, Owerri West LGA, Imo State for allegedly killing their brother, Chinonso Emenyionu “M”.

The late Mr. Chinonso Emenyionu was said to have been killed for protesting the formula applied in sharing their late father’s property.

The spokesperson of the command, SP Ikeokwu Godson Orlando in a statement said the late Chinonso Emenyionu while protesting allegedly picked up a matchet and threatened to cut his mum into pieces.

This was said to have attracted the attention of his sister, Chioma Emenyionu who called their other brothers, Chigbu, Mishark, and Shedrack Emenyionu, all of whom arrived the scene.

They allegedly descended on the late Chinonso and beat him to stupor.

He was rushed to the hospital where he was confirmed dead.

The command says his corpse has been deposited in the morgue, while effort is on to arrest the other fleeing suspects as investigation continues.
