A middle-aged man suspected to be mentally unstable has luckily escaped lynching by an angry mob in Aba, Abia State.
He was alleged to have been caught with the body of a dead baby along Umuatako junction by Living Word in the commercial city
This however stirred anger among onlookers who nearly lynched him to death.
A video from the scene of the incident shared on social media showed the suspect being whisked away by security operatives who came to avert possible jungle justice.
