Senator Abbo Greets Lady Ifunanya Kalu As She Marks Birthday

The senator representing Adamawa North, Sen. Elisha Cliff Abbo has congratulated Lady Ifunanya Uzor Kalu, wife of Senate Chief Whip, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu at the auspicious occasion of her birthday.

The federal lawmaker said Lady Kalu has demonstrated that she is a pillar of support whose contribution in helping her husband build a successful political career cannot be over-emphasized.

In a birthday message on Monday, Sen. Abbo extolled the leadership role Lady Kalu has played in empowering women and assisting in harnessing their potentials for national development.

“For me, the biggest support my brother the Senate Chief Whip, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu can get is having a wife who has not only helped in ensuring that he has a fruitful political career but stood by him through even most difficult times.

“She has distinguished herself as a virtuous woman who is touched by the welfare and development of the downtrodden in society. She epitomizes hard work, humility, and commitment and above all perfect example of motherhood.
