Senator representing Abia North and Chief Whip of the Senate, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu has said he does not subscribe to the politics of sharing money to the people but initiating impactful projects that will stand the test of time, ABN TV reports.

Speaking at the commissioning of 2km Road in Atan Ihechiowa in Arochukwu local government area of the state on Friday, he called on leaders at all levels to do more in terms of sustainable development.

While thanking the people of Ihechiowa for their support, he reminded them that even during his tenure as the state governor, he remembered them by appointing three of their sons as Commissioners in his cabinet.

The federal lawmaker assured that he will initiate more interventions to touch their lives for good.

The senator expressed gratitude to President Mohammed Buhari for making it possible for such a project to be executed in his constituency through the release of Zonal Intervention Fund.

He said he will continue to showcase his achievements in office to arouse the consciousness of other political leaders across the state and beyond.
