Former governor of Abia State and the Senator representing Abia North, Sen. Orji Uzor Kalu on Tuesday inspect the construction of 7.2km road project at Abiriba-Amurie-Etitiama-Agbaja and motorized borehole in Amurie and Agbaja Nkporo respectively Nkporo community in Ohafia local government area of the state.
This is even as the Senate Chief Whip assured that he will take democratic dividends to hometown of the deputy governor of the state, Rt. Hon. Oko Chukwu next year.
Speaking with newsmen shortly after inspecting the projects, the Senator who had during his tenure as governor in the state constructed an access road to the community in addition to an electricity project, the first in the community said he is the representative for all Abia North irrespective of political party difference.

He said the desire to embark on the road construction followed a request by the community during his campaign in the area, adding that the water project in the Deputy governor’s community will begin early next year.
While reiterating his commitment to ensuring he is at peace with those whose mandate he is holding, the federal lawmaker stated that similar construction is ongoing in other local governments that make up the Senatorial district, including Isuikwuato, Umunneochi, and Ohafia.
