Governor Alex Otti has issued a stern warning to criminal elements operating in Abia State, stating that his administration will not tolerate acts of kidnapping, banditry, or insecurity.
Speaking during his April edition of “Governor Alex Otti Speaks to Abians, the Governor stressed that the government’s “Operation Crush” security initiative is operational across all 17 local government areas of the state.
“Some people who tested our will didn’t find it easy,” the Governor said. “Security is everybody’s business, and I urge our people to report any suspicious activity.”
He reaffirmed his commitment to making Abia safe for businesses, investors, and residents, warning that “all the investments we’re making in infrastructure and healthcare would be meaningless if security is not guaranteed.”
Governor Otti also praised the efforts of security agencies and said more support would be provided to sustain peace across the state.
