Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu joined the ‘women support walk’ for his second term bid and the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu on Monday.
Sanwo-Olu, accompanied by his deputy, Obafemi Hamzat; his wife Dr. Mrs Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu and Mrs. Oluremi Hamzat, led the support walk, held along some selected areas of Lagos metropolis.
The event tagged: “Lagos Women Support Walk for Tinubu/Shettima, Sanwo-Olu, Hamzat also attracted Lagos APC chairman, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi.
Others included former Deputy Governor Oluranti Adebule and Lagos APC Women Leader, Jumoke Okoya-Thomas.
The women, spotting different colour T-Shirts with Tinubu’s insignia, chanted various solidarity songs.
The group marched on the Lagos Island, CMS and other areas and terminated at Mobolaji Johnson Arena, formerly Onikan Stadium, Onikan, singing and hailing Tinubu.
