Member representing Ikwuano/Umuahia federal constituency of Abia State, Rep. Sam Onuigbo has expressed shock over the death of Barr. K.C Ugboaja, a former local government chairman of Ikwuano, saying it is a general loss to Abians.
Rep. Onuigbo in a condolence message to the family on Saturday described Ugboaja as an ebullient and strategic leader who made a significant impact in the service of his people as a council boss, standing as one of the very bests in the council.
He said, “An ebullient and strategic leader, K.C was a shinning light for Ikwuano and remains till today, arguably the best Local Government Chairman of our beloved Local Government Area. He will be forever remembered for the impactful leadership he exercised during this period.
“As we battle with this dark cloud that has been thrown over us by his loss, may we be consoled by the fact that he lived an impactful life.
“On behalf of myself, my family, and the good people of great Ikwuano/Umuahia North/Umuahia South Federal Constituency, I condole with his family, the people of Ariam/Usaka and Ikwuano. May God strengthen us.”
