A non-governmental organization, Orji Uzor Kalu Foundation says it’s collaborating with Venezuelan Embassy in Abuja to sponsor 50 undergraduate students who have passion and qualification to study medicine and surgery in Venezuela in its 2021 Scholarship programme.

The Foundation says it has strictly chosen the top-ranking and prestigious university in Venezuela, Latinoamerican Medicine School-Escuela Latinoamericana de Medicina (ELAM) for the selected students.

The length of study is six years, the Executive Secretary,  Orji Uzor Kalu Foundation, Rev (Mrs) Jemima Ola Kalu said in a statement made available to ABN TV on Wednesday.

The Foundation says it will provide full financial support which includes tuition, accommodation, feeding, and monthly stipends for the selected students.

All eligible applicants must be Nigerians by citizenship, have good grades in West African Examination Council (WAEC) or National Examinations Council (NECO) ‘A’ grades in Biology,  Physics, and Chemistry is added advantage.

In addition, eligible beneficiaries should be between 18 and 23 years old, should have single status as well as medical fitness.

Documents expected to be submitted include, Photocopy of West African Examination Council(WAEC) or National Examinations Council (NECO), Self-introduction letter of a maximum of 200 words between July 30th, 2021 —August 15th, 2021
