Ahead on the second leg of the qualifying World Cup match between Super Eagles of Nigeria and the Black Stars of Ghana in Abuja on Tuesday, former Governor of Abia State, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu has expressed hope that enthusiastic fans will come out in their numbers to cheer the Eagles to victory.

This comes as he also announced the commencement of distribution of the 5,000 tickets he earlier procured for fans through his Orji Uzor Kalu Foundation.

Kalu, Chief Whip of the Senate in a statement on Monday said despite the commencement of the distribution of the tickets in group, there is still more for fans which will be distributed at the stadium gate with effect from 3pm Tuesday.

The pillar of sports had earlier expressed optimism that Nigeria will defeat Ghana in the clash to put smile on the faces of teeming fans.

He said, “Ahead of Nigeria VS Ghana Match tomorrow, I am hopeful that enthusiastic Nigerians will be in the stadium to cheer up our Super Eagles .

“Even though Orji Uzor Kalu Foundation have been able to share a lot of tickets in groups, a great number of the tickets will also be given to fans by 3PM at the entrance gate of the stadium ( AREA 1 GATE )”

Nigeria had last week Friday in the first leg of the qualifying match in Kumasi held Ghana to a goalless draw amidst missed opportunities to trounce the Black Stars.
