As Nigeria marks 62nd Independence anniversary, the APC candidate for House of Representatives, Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency, High Chief Daniel Chimezie Okeke has called on the government at various levels to prioritize the interest of the citizens as such entails the true significance of independence.
This was contained in his goodwill message to Nigerians as the country celebrates its 62nd independence anniversary today.
Chief Okeke in his goodwill message to the people of the constituency and Nigerians at large expressed optimism that the country will be greater and better if the citizens on their own part remain faithful and united, Oti Maduabuchi Orieji, Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to Chief Dr. Okeke says.
“There’s no strong or powerful nation without challenges and Nigeria is not an exception. Our journey may not have been swift, yet it doesn’t void the progress we have made so far as individual, cooperate bodies or Government. With faith, commitments and unity we shall make Nigeria better and greater collectively.
“I call on our leaders in various level of government to always do the right thing and prioritize the interest of those that voted them into power. The independence of any nation is when the voice of the citizens is heard,” Dr. Daniel Chimezie Okeke said.
