Popular Nigerian comedian-turned-singer Nasboi has kicked off a unique 36-day kneeling tour across Nigeria in a heartfelt campaign to get a collaboration verse from superstar singer Davido.
The nationwide tour, which began on Wednesday, is Nasboi’s creative plea after several failed attempts to catch Davido’s attention. He revealed that for the past five years, he has been mimicking Davido in hopes of collaborating with the star.
Nasboi announced the tour on Instagram with a picture of himself holding a placard in front of the Osun State Government Secretariat as the kickoff point. The next day, he was spotted kneeling at the Kano State Government House and was seen today at Donald’s Fast Food in Imo State.
In the caption, he wrote: “I will be kneeling across the 36 states for 36 days. I pray this dream comes to pass. Please just tag @davido everyday when you see the post.”
The heartfelt and humorous campaign has already begun to draw attention, sparking conversations online about Nasboi’s determination and creativity.
