Mesut Ozil has officially declared his retirement from professional football both at the National and club levels.
Ozil played for Schalke 04, Werder Bremen, Real Madrid, Arsenal FC, Fenerbahce, and Basaksehir respectively.
He made this known via his Facebook page where he said:
