A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Chief Sir Marc Wabara has expressed deep shock over the demise of the Publisher of Hallmark Newspaper, Prince Emeka Obasi.
Obasi, who was one-time Commissioner of Information in Abia State, was the founder and Executive Secretary of Public Policy Research and Analysis Centre (PPRAC), organisers of the Zik Prize in Leadership Award.
Wabara described the death as a personal loss considering the fact that the veteran journalist and his immediate family were very close to him for many decades.
He said Obasi was a very intelligent, creative and visionary professional that was committed to his convictions at all times.
Wabara prayed God to grant the soul of late Obasi repose, and his family the strength to bear the irreparable loss.
