Kelechi Iheanacho has urged his Leicester City teammates to keep the winning feeling on.

Enzo Maresca’s side have enjoyed an impressive start to life in the Sky Bet Championship following their relegation from the Premier League last season.

The Foxes recorded a 4-1 victory against Blackburn Rovers in their last fixture at the Ewood Park on Sunday.

Iheanacho scored Leicester’s from the penalty spot.

Leicester City now have a two-point lead at the top of the table.

Iheanacho stated that the Foxes must keep their feet on the ground as they look to secure promotion back to the Premier League.

“We’re on top now, but it’s a tough league. We need to keep going because there’s a lot of games. We have a big squad, so we need to manage ourselves and keep getting the wins,” Iheanacho told the club’s official website.

“We just keep learning and going game by game and, at the end of the season, we’ll see where we are.”

Iheanacho has scored two goals in nine league appearances for Leicester City this season.

The former Premier League champions will host Preston North End in their next league game at the King Power Stadium on Wednesday.
