Kalu Commiserates With Pantami Over Daughter’s Demise

Former Governor of Abia State and Chief Whip, Senator Orji Kalu, has condoled with Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Mallam Isa Ali Pantami over the demise of his daughter, Aisha Isa Ali.

The minister broke the sad news via its official Twitter handle on Monday.

He wrote; “Inna lil Laahi wa inna ilaiHi Rajiun! My 13-year old daughter, Aishah Isa Ali (Amal) passed away just a moment ago. Due to some necessities, funeral prayer tomorrow at Annur Masjeed, Wuse 2, immediately after Zuhr prayer in sha Allah. May Allah forgive & be Merciful to her.”

The former Governor, while describing the passing of the young girl as painful, prayed to Allah to give the Pantami family strength and peace during this period of grief.

In his condolence message, Kalu conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the Minister, adding that Aisha died in her prime.

He said, “I commiserate with Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Mallam Isa Ali Pantami, who lost his daughter, Aisha Isa Ali.

“Our prayers and thoughts are with the Minister and his family members during this sorrowful period.

“Aisha died in her prime but who are we to question Allah.

“May Allah forgive her shortcomings and grant her Al-Jannah Firdaus”.
