The Governor of Kaduna state, Nasir El-Rufai1 has lost his polling unit in the just-concluded local government elections, ABN TV has learned.
El-rufai lost his 01 Polling Unit at Ungwan Sarki in Kaduna North Local Government Area of the state.
The presiding officer, Sani Muhammadu, announced that out of 159 total votes cast, the PDP garnered 86 votes against the APC’s 62 votes for the chairmanship position.
Also in the Councillorship results, PDP garnered 100 votes while the APC got 53 votes.

The governor had earlier lamented over Voter Apathy as the turnout for the elections were low. He also expressed that he was not interested in cheating or rigging the electoral exercise.
This newspaper also learned that the State Electoral Commission had to suspend the exercise in four local government Areas due to insecurity. The LGAs are Zango-Kataf, Birnin-Gwari, Kajuru and Chikun.
