Former Minister of Labour and Productivity, Emeka Wogu, CON, has congratulated the Secretary to Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha as he clocks 65.
The Abia born APC chieftain describes the SGF as a shining light in the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari, noting that his administrative acumen and dexterity stands him out in the President’s cabinet.
In a birthday message to the SGF on Saturday obtained by ABN TV, the former Minister said Boss Mustapha has demonstrated uncommon zeal and passion towards ensuring the success of the government in leaving a Nigeria future generations will be proud of.
He particularly pointed out that as the chairman of Presidential Committee on COVID-19, SGF Mustapha was instrumental in ensuring that lives and livelihoods were protected through adequate information to Nigerians, pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical interventions that strengthened the safety of Nigerians.
“Nigerians are grateful to you for being a valuable vessel in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic which has wrecked havoc in other parts of the world, leading to death of hundreds of thousands.
“In Nigeria, the pragmatic leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari saw individuals like your humble self and others take the lead in ensuring that the level of casualty from the pandemic is at the very barest minimum.
“A cosmopolitan leader, you have built the bridge of peace and brotherliness among the ethnic and religious divides. Your humble spirit is examplery.
“You have demonstrated excellence in any national assignment you have undertaken a product of which history will be kind to you.
“Without any iota of doubt, you have shown you are the engine room in policy implementation of government with a focal aim of enhancing the welfare of all Nigerians across board” Wogu said.
He also prayed God to continually grant the SGF sound health and wisdom as he discharges selfless services for the good of the Nigerian nation.
