An Abia-based journalist, Imeremba Michael Imeremba, who works with Real FM, has survived a ghastly motor accident alongside the Deputy Mayor of Ikwuano Local Government Area, Awuwa Lucky, the President General (PG), and one Igbo Nkemakolam.
ABN TV gathered that the accident occurred on Sunday night at about 7pm at Umugbalu Ikwuano, along the Ikot Ekpene Road in Abia State.
Taking to his official Facebook page, Imeremba expressed gratitude to God for sparing their lives, saying, “To God be the glory, I just survived what would have been a fatal accident, alongside Deputy Mayor of Ikwuano Local Government Awuwa Lucky, our PG and Igbo Nkemakolam. We’re safe but the vehicles are not.”
The vehicle involved in the accident was a Toyota Highlander, which reportedly sustained severe damage as a result of the crash. Fortunately, all the occupants escaped without physical injuries.
The incident has since drawn prayers and goodwill messages from friends, colleagues, and members of the public who praised God for the narrow escape.
Further details surrounding the cause of the accident are yet to be officially confirmed as of press time.
