Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has firmly rejected the prospect of negotiations with the United States while Israeli attacks on Iran continue.
Speaking in an interview broadcast on state television Friday, Araghchi said that Washington’s repeated calls for dialogue have been dismissed due to ongoing hostilities.
“The Americans have repeatedly sent messages expressing a serious interest in negotiations,” Araghchi stated.
“But we have made it clear that as long as the aggression persists, there will be no room for diplomacy or dialogue.”
Araghchi is scheduled to travel to Geneva for discussions with European officials.
