IBB @80: Former President A Great Leader, Reformer — Sir Udensi

Renowned security expert and Interpol Systems Consultant, Sir Chikwe Udensi has congratulated former military President, Ibrahim Babangida as he marks his 80th birthday, describing former Nigerian leader as a ‘great leader’ and reformer.

Udensi in a congratulatory message on Tuesday made available to ABN TV in Abuja said IBB, as Babangida is fondly called opened up the country to the corporate world.

Sir Udensi, a stalwart of All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA noted that Babangida embarked on reforms in various areas of economy that attracted development in Nigeria, including in the media, banking, aviation, education, and others.

He also extolled IBB for the numerous infrastructure he initiated and completed while in office.

Udensi while noting that Babangida is greatly misunderstood insists that history will be kind to the former Nigerian leader.

He also prayed God to continually endow the elder statesman with good health as he joins the league of octogenarians.
