The Member representing Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Ibe Okwara Osonwa, has joined Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, and other dignitaries at activities marking the third anniversary of the Otti administration in office.

The anniversary engagements began with a thanksgiving service held at the Event Centre near Okpara Square, Umuahia, where government officials, political leaders, and supporters gathered in reflection and appreciation for the achievements recorded by the administration over the past three years.
The delegation later moved to Uzuakoli Road for the official flag-off of the construction of an Ecumenical Centre, described as a personal covenant project by Governor Otti to be funded entirely through private resources without government funds.

Hon. Osonwa commended the governor for what he described as his transparency and strong personal conviction, noting that faith and accountability have continued to shape his style of governance.
The day’s activities concluded at Laguru in Ubakala, Umuahia South Local Government Area, where Governor Otti simultaneously flagged off the rehabilitation of the Ubakala Water Scheme and the Ariaria Water Scheme in Aba.
The projects, valued at about ₦1.3 billion, are expected to improve access to clean water for thousands of residents in Umuahia and Aba.
Speaking on the significance of the anniversary events, Hon. Osonwa stated that the Otti administration has continued to demonstrate purposeful leadership through visible infrastructural and developmental projects across the state.
According to him, the partnership between Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency and the state government has yielded tangible results, including ongoing work on the Omenuko Bridge, the Ohafia-Arochukwu Highway, the Smart Schools initiative across the 17 local government areas, and the ongoing electricity restoration efforts in communities within the constituency.
“Three years in, and the Otti administration continues to demonstrate what purposeful governance looks like. The partnership between Arochukwu/Ohafia and this administration has produced results our people can see and feel,” the lawmaker said.
Hon. Osonwa congratulated Governor Otti on the completion of three years in office and reaffirmed his commitment to working closely with the state government to advance development in Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency and Abia State at large.
