The appearance of Sen. Orji Uzor Kalu, former governor of Abia State and Chief Whip of the Nigerian Senate at the prestigious Eko Hotels Lagos where the event took place caused stir as guests made attempts to catch a glimpse of him, a video obtained by ABN TV shows.

Sen. Kalu who is the publisher of the Sun Newspaper was almost caught unaware with the reaction of the excited guests.
His recent court victory against the EFCC over corruption allegations at Federal High Court Abuja may have swelled his popularity as friends and well wishers have taken to various media platforms to congratulate him.
The court held that Sen. Kalu cannot be retried over an offence he had earlier been tried and justice dispensed.
