Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Otti has reaffirmed his administration’s vision of transforming Abia State into a major economic hub, with ambitious infrastructural projects and a revenue target of N120 billion for 2025.
Speaking at the flag-off of the Owerrinta-Umuikaa Road project, the Governor revealed plans to expand the Aba urban corridor and integrate it with Umuahia, creating a large metropolitan area.
He also announced ongoing negotiations for a world-class medical city along the corridor and unveiled a major partnership with Radisson Blu for the redevelopment of the Enyimba International Hotel, a convention center, and a hybrid business complex.

“We have taken on projects that previous administrations ignored. Some of our landmark projects, including Port Harcourt Road, will be completed soon,” he said.
Governor Otti called on Abians to support the government by paying taxes regularly, emphasizing that public funds are being transparently utilized for development.
He assured residents that all flagged-off projects would be completed within schedule and encouraged public participation in building a “New Abia” for future generations.
