The Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Otti, OFR, has approved the immediate suspension of the Principals of all state-owned Nursing/Midwifery training institutions.
This he said is pending investigations and directives.
A statement signed by the chief press secretary to the Governor, Kazie Uko, the chief executive of Abia State also directed the suspension of the Director of Nursing in the Ministry of Health, Nwosu Dorathy Njideka.
No reason was however given for the action.
