Following the dissolution of the board of State Government agencies, Abia State Governor Dr. Alex Otti, has directed the most Senior Civil Servants to take over the leadership of their respective institutions on acting capacity.
By this directive, the Deputy Rector (Academics), Abia State Polytechnic Aba, Engr. Mrs Chidinma Martha Ndukwe is to step in as the acting Rector.
This instruction is contained in a statement on Monday signed by the governor’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ferdinand Ekeoma.
The release also directed Barr. Nkwo Victor O’Brien to step in as the acting chairman of the Secondary Education Management Board (SEMB).
Similarly, Mr. Ukaegbu Peacebee C.N will also assume duty as the acting chairman of Abia State Board of Internal Revenue Service while Barr. Ndaji Chidozie is to take over the leadership of Abia State Universal Basic Education Board (ASUBEB).
Pst. Uka Ndu Igwe will be in charge of Abia State Community and Social Development Agency ( Abia-CSDA)
“Those affected by this directive should adhere strictly and avoid actions that could cause disruption of government activities in the aforementioned institutions”, the release added.
