Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex C. Otti, has extended warm felicitations to the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu, on the occasion of his 54th birthday.
In a heartfelt message, Governor Otti praised Kalu’s charismatic leadership and unwavering dedication to national development, stating that his efforts have brought renewed hope and inspiration to countless individuals within his constituency, Abia State, and across Nigeria.
“Through the exploits of your charismatic leadership abilities, you have restored hope and brought a spark of light to the lives of individuals and families,” the Governor said. He commended the Deputy Speaker’s sense of duty and commitment, which he described as instrumental to Kalu’s outstanding service at the national level.
Governor Otti, who noted that he has closely followed Kalu’s political journey, said he is not surprised by the Deputy Speaker’s rise, attributing it to his diligence and sense of purpose. He prayed for continued divine guidance for the celebrant, adding, “My prayer is that God Almighty who has brought you thus far would continue to guide and direct your path in His wisdom and purpose.”
The Governor concluded his tribute by wishing Rt. Hon. Kalu a happy birthday and many joyful returns.
Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu, a distinguished son of Abia State, currently serves as the Deputy Speaker of Nigeria’s 10th House of Representatives.
