Former Nigeria President, Goodluck Jonathan is about now participating in the special convocation of Gregory University Uturu, Abia state, ABN TV reports.
The University had earlier informed that Dr. Jonathan will observe the rededication of the school’s main auditorium which is named after him.
He is expected to be conferred with Honorary Doctorate Degree during the event.

At the ongoing event, the former President will perform the foundation laying of the 1000 bed capacity Gregory University Uturu Teaching Hospital Complex located at Ezinnachi.
He will also commission and energize the 5MVA electricity transformer recently procured by the Chancellor, Prof Gregory Ibe, for the purpose of distributing power to Uturu and environs.
