The General Officer Commander (GOC) of the Nigeria Army 82 Division, Enugu, Hassan Dada has reiterated his readiness to offer the needed cooperation to sister security agencies in Abia State to ensure that criminal elements do not operate freely in any part of the state.

He further urged heads of other security agencies in Abia synergise to ensure the safety of all residents

GOC Hassan Dada who spoke during a brief meeting with service chiefs in Abia at the DSS headquarters in Umuahia expressed gratitude to security heads for their support and collaboration so far to the 14 Brigade Ohafia Abia.

He assured willingness to work with all security heads in the six states under his jurisdiction.

The newly appointed GOC of the 82 Division of the Nigerian Army in Enugu who resumed duty two weeks ago said there’s need for more synergy with all security agencies in fighting all forms of criminalities in the state.

Welcoming the GOC the Abia state Director of the DSS, Friday Onuche said there has been collaborations, co-operation between security agencies in the state through intelligence gathering and sharing.

He further explained that the relative peace being enjoyed in the state could be attributed to the synergy that exists among the security agencies in Abia State.

According to the State Director, Department of Security Services,” Abia state can largely be adjudged as a peaceful state due to cooperation and collaboration existing among the security agencies in the State driven by intelligent gathering and sharing.
