There are indications that palpable fear has gripped members of the opposition APC in Isuikwuato/Umunneochi federal constituency of Abia State as the state governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, deputy, Ude Oko Chukwu will on March 25, 2022 storm Uturu in Isuikwuato to receive Chief Amobi Ogah to the ruling PDP.
Chief Ogah is brother of the Minister of State for Mines and Steel Development, Uche Ogah and is considered a big catch for the PDP.
He had recently announced his exit form the APC to PDP, citing pressures from his supporters.
At the occasion where Chief Ogah is expected to declare his intention to run for House of Representatives seat to represent Isuikwuato/Umunneochi federal constituency, the National Vice chairman of the PDP in South East, Chief Ali Odefa will be the special guest of honour while Rt. Hon. Alwell Asiforo Okeke, the chairman of PDP in Abia State will also be present.
The biggest political gathering will take place at Onuaku primary school, Uturu at 12noon.
Among other missions of the party in the federal constituency is to ensure that the PDP secures victory in the federal constituency to end the dream of a rep member who may be warming up to stay 20 years in the House of Representatives.
She will in 2023 be 16 years as a member of House of Representatives.
