Moises Caicedo, a Brighton midfielder, is aiming to force a move to Chelsea during the summer transfer window after missing training on Monday.

Caicedo was absent from Brighton’s final pre-season match against Rayo Vallecano on Sunday, with the club reporting he was out with a hamstring injury.

Meanwhile, Chelsea have had three bids for Caicedo rejected by Brighton, including an £80 million deal last week.

Caicedo is attempting to help push through a move to the Blues this week by missing Monday’s training session, according to Relevo.

According to the story, Caicedo has also removed his stuff from Brighton’s training field.

Brighton, on the other hand, is determined that the 21-year-old will not be allowed to move unless their £100 million asking price is reached.

The Seagulls believe their midfielder is worth equivalent to the £105 million Arsenal paid to buy Declan Rice from West Ham this summer.
