Chelsea legend Frank Leboeuf has suggested that the Blues, under Todd Boehly’s leadership, replace current manager Graham Potter with former Real Madrid head coach Zinedine Zidane.

Chelsea is currently on a bad run of form, having gone winless in their last five games and winning only two of their last fifteen.

Bottom-placed Southampton defeated Potter’s men 1-0 in their last Premier League match on Saturday.
Calls for Potter to be fired have grown louder in recent hours, but Lebeouf believes Zidane will be the ideal replacement at Stamford Bridge.

When asked if Zidane would accept Chelsea’s invitation, Lebeouf told ESPN, “I don’t know, but it would be a very good idea, I would be very pleased.”

“I never asked him if he wanted to come to England. I asked him if he didn’t speak English, but he responded in English. So, you know, he speaks English a little bit.”

“Yeah, he could be in charge of Chelsea, and I would be very, very happy about it.”

Zidane, who has been out of managerial duties since 2021, recently revealed his desire to return to management this year.
